Bighorn as in Bighorn sheep. stayed overnight at Sibley camp & fly fished am no
luck. cloudy & rainy. on to hwy14w. waded in prune creek. cold h2o. absolutely
beautiful scenic drive. Burgess jct & turn south & do "U" loop back to Medcine
Wheel.. 2 moose 250 yds in field. Granite pass 9,033' & big decline/ steep out
of Bighorn mtns. down to Shell falls. spectacular view to eat lunch samich.
tourists from Albania & 1 albino. Falls & mts 1,000 to 2,000' higher. 2 to 4
miles past just as spectacular. stop & wade in shell creek. just as cold.
Canyon to valley. 4 miles to greybull, WY airport has 15+ old prop planes for
museum display / striped for parts. a LOT of planes. boxcars/ bombers / Canadian
air force planes... mothballed. dry air / no humidity. 2 c-130s.
N on hwy 310 /789wy Nothing for miles. high plains desert. rolling hills. a few
side mesas. few petrified dunes. come to Lovell WY . late from staying in canyon
/ pics / wading in streams... you have to wade in every beautiful stream you
pass... or at least make an attempt. I won't get back to
Shell falls
continuing downstreamShell Falls again in this life journey... this was my day
to wade in Shell creek. You never drink twice from the same stream.
Lovell, Wy city park.. not very scenic... but no charge & hot showers.. Thank
you Lovell WY.. we stayed a couple of days to see the bighorns / canyon /
Medicine Wheel & spent $$ there w/ appreciation for their city park. Hot
Shower... need I say more!!!
