lived in Miami for 4 years & there was a local commercial late night w/ a jewish guy in super heavy jewish accent that said "You don't have to know anything about diamonds,... you just have to know your jeweler". very wise / true words.
So I don't have to know how to catch a chinook salmon or steelhead trout at the Columbia river gorge in Biggs Oregon... or Maryhill, WA, I just have to know a Yakima indian that knows where the chinook salmon are & he catches them. I met & made friends w/ a Yakima indian, yatkut (yah- coot)-- means wild man, --we respect each' tribe. and son Sillieye -- means Coyote or sly one. these are good men! & now my friends for life.
a fresh trout / salmon grilled only a few hours after caught is a taste... pure? pristene? not sure of the taste description... but it's real & beyond unique.
