July 4th 2010 Livingston MT
What is more American than going to a Rodeo in Livingston Montana on July 4th? **************** How do Ma'm. ?Is this where I sign in for the Bull riding tonight? Rodeo Lady at desk: ?Name? Reverend Billy Ray Traywick from Dillon Montana. My friends call me Hargus. Lady: Your # 19. Pin that on. Hargus: Thank you Ma'm. ?Where do I pick up the prize money check after the rodeo? Lady: Next. *************** When traveling through the South I always take pics of old barns . dilapedated ones are favorites. ones that have been past their prime farming / ranchjing days by 50 plus years ... & even if there was new family blood that would take the farm homestead and run it... the building / barn is probably past saving. They make great pics. In the west there are barns... but the West is defined by something I observe & take note of as serious as barns.... and don't miss a chance of a pic. Horse trailers! There's a wide range of horse trailers. Efficient to plush. You can tell a lot about a man... cowboy / cowgirl by their horse trailer. Horse Calf tying 9.4 sec Horse trailers are life! When you ever get a chance to go to a Rodeo... take it! It defines so much of the spirit & history & culture of the west. Placing 16th at a Rodeo on the 4th of July in Livingston... Now that's a great day. ... even if the guys described my ride as getting slaberknocked.
