On the Road Fruita CO Jun 9 2010

Traveling w/ Dad on the road as a teenager I could see how the other old
construction workers were worn out. Vagabond / Bedouin life sounds like fun but
it is tiring. In the '80s did volunteer work at homeless shelters in Orlando &
saw how weary being on the street was. The guys were perpetually tired /
exhausted. Other workers scoffed at bathroom cleanup duty. I took it as an honor
& one of the things most proud of; to clean the bathrooms so homeless people
would have the dignity of clean facilities to refresh themselves. That
means little to most people but it's important for a basic need.

There are all types in these rv parks / st pks / campgrounds. Make no mistake
there are some affluent wealthy America here in their 250k+ huge luxury bus
motor HOMES. --& they brought their golf carts too.

There's a lot of middle america in modest plus mid size campers that are--
families traveling / camping . A LOT of younger campers in tents that are
professional outdoors kids hiking, biking, rafting, kayaking ect.

& some instances of the grapes of wrath where they've got everything they own in a car & a couple of kids w/ their nose pressed to the window wondering what in the world is going to happen to them. ... parents looking for the promised land. A few times where a family held up a makeshift cardboard poster "Broke - any gas $$ will help".

Our blessings are abundant.
