After Sinks Canyon, head to Thermopolis , Wyoming. Stop in Lander for a few minutes/ stops and head north hwy 789 to Riverton and Shoshoni, Wyoming ... shooting to make Thermopolis for the night.
This leg of the journey up through central Wyoming is turning out to be far better than expected. Every day is just more fascinating going through these unique places, towns, ... subcultures... the local towns people,... the native american indian roots / tribes,... the ranchers , cowboys & cowgirls... Lady ranchers too! I see the lady ranchers in stores w/ crud on their boots too!
