Back to Horsethief Lake st pk
Heading back along Hwy 14east after The Dalles.... Too Much that requires another post.
Mid afternoon now & made way to Underwood. Wind in the Columbia River canyon has picked up now to 40 to 50 mph. White caps on the river. Really stout wind. No wonder there are wind farms on the ridges.
And... there are Sail boarders.... and Para-Surfers.. Surfboards pulled by Wing chutes. More than a few.... maybe 40 to 50 in the couple of places stopped. Second area was past Klikitat.
These people looked like they were having a ball. Gorgeous scenery of the Columbia River Gorge, 50+ winds, Sunshine.... and in places you can see Mt Hood.
What a natural wonder to play in.
