This journey has been amazing. Starting out from Birmingham months ago, to cross a continent... I understand the pioneers much better. I understand Homers Odessey better. The unplanned sights all along the backroads of America... priceless.
From Birmingham across the continent to the Pacific coast of Oregon... and now it's time to head back home. But there are places and things to still see. This was an amazing day to stumble onto this.
We get on the backroads, scenic byway at corbett, Oregon... and stop at this "Portland Womens Forum" overlook... wow! ... and while there... see this thing... something down the gorge... Let's go see what this is about.
Vista Point... WOW !!! What a place !!! Beauty beyond description.
...and had to stop to pick blueberries for morning breakfast / yogurt/ oat gruel... There were many stops at mom 'n pop roadside stands to buy local grown produce...
?Is this a great country or what? A good day!
