Out of Box Canyon return to "the falls"

Driving 40 miles into box canyon was great to see the real pristene Montana wilderness.

Boulder river flowing down the canyon, shouldered by the Beartooth and Absoroka mountain ranges had several snowcapped peaks at 10,000'+ elev.

A really pristine canyon, dirt road... teeth shaking at times and only 5 to 10mph.

Marine friend Jason had specifically said to see Natural Bridge Falls at the entrance to the canyon. It was beautiful to see the boulder river cascading down and then "fall" into a sink and re-surface "rise" downstream.

I took time to wade in the river at the falls.... and now a couple of days later, the river was down and where I'd previously waded... now dry riverbed. Very interesting.

This was a really strong flow rate on this Boulder river... now ceded .... and able to walk some in the streambed.
