downtown Livingston, Montana
The past few days were spent south of Big Timber, MT... going down into Box Canyon. That was a 50 mile trek of bumpy dirt roads into the real Montana wilderness. Box Canyon was shouldered by the snowcaped Absoroka and Beartooth mountain ranges. ...real pristene Montana. It was primitive camping for a few days and now time to head west before turning north to Glacier np.
And it was time to get to civilization and suppy up.... and past due for hot showers.
So it was spend a couple days in Livingston, rest up some, check email at the library ect..
and we come into town... and Livinston, Montana is throwing a party. It's the annual 4th of July Livingston Roundup Rodeo !
everything is booked up so head to Pine Creek, MT Gallatin nat forest camp and commute back to Livingston for a couple days.
and had a chance to see Livingston on a holiday weekend. This is an All American town. The west at it's best.
