Livingston , Montana by Yellowstone bus/ cab

Livingston, Montana Architecture by Yellowstone bus/ cab

We'd all like to think we're significant. Truth is... we're not. In an hour you will have forgotten this journal post. In a few months, you will have forgoten ever seeing this website. Gone. vanished in any memory.

But what defines a people, their life, their values,... their lives... that stands the classic test of time... is architecture; it defines their culture.

One of the Yellowstone tour busses were loaned to livingston for the Rodeo weekend event; I had to see Livingston, MT close up. The guys doing the tour were local and knew all the past and present historical info.

Livingston, MT grew with the Northern Pacific RR coming through and became the gateway to the north entrance to Yellowstone. The Yellowstone River-- Great Trout fishing flows right through town. I really like this town!

It was a treat to view these residential homes and neighborhoods in the eyes of an archeologist and anthropologist. Also see all other Livingston posts.
