San Luis valley ... Solar collector
Hwy 17north from Alamosa, Colorado. Beautiful drive up this valley.
Looking for San Luis Lake st pk... not sure where we are going as usual and go past the turnoff. I'm not lost... but am miles from nowhere which is where I prefer to be.
a short distance up the road, looking for a turnaround.... there's this industrial looking thing at a turnoff road.
It's a SOLAR collector for power... harnessing the suns energy. WOW ! and yeah!!!
It's good to see our guys working on this... and put substantial capital outlay / resources to make energy independence happen. Way to go guys!
Clear Colorado high arid plain desert air,... visability 50 miles... soak up that sun energy ! Had to take a few pics of this. This is the largest solar project I've seen.
This made my day... & we're not even to San Luis Lake. it gets better.
